Comasoft is potentially a ‘multi-hyphenated-genera’ rock group from Chicago.  80’s Electro mixed with a little of this and that, but at the end of the day Comasoft is essentially pop rock.  Catchy vocal hooks, melodic synths and guitars and a nice bottom heavy rhythm to push the listener to move their back sides however they see fit.

Comasoft was named in the top 10 of the Best Chicago Bands of 2009 by the Illinois Entertainer Magazine and is regularly featured on Chicago’s rock station Q101. Comasoft music has also been on the MTV network shows 10 on Top and The Seven.

Comasoft has garnered a sizable fan base in the Midwest playing club dates and short tour stints.  Their fan base consists of primarily stylish and alternative teenage girls, but they’ve had success with both All Ages crowds and Adult Only shows. Their live show incorporates original backdrop video perfectly synced to the music, nearly blinding intelligent lighting and laser displays and an all out high energy assault by the members playing their respective instruments…  The synth-heavy mixes and melodic sing-along hooks give the crowd all the best aspects of a live concert and a basement dance party at the same time.

Comasoft has toured with IAMX, Femme Fatality and French-Horn Rebellion, are friends with and have played on many occasions with Kill Hannah and Madina Lake. And (yeah there is more) played shows with The Presets, The White Tie Affair, Apoptygma Berzerk, the Anix, Ghostland Observatory, Breathe Carolina, Hawthorne Heights and many others.

The new EP Burn to Shine with producer Chuck Macak is out NOW! On iTunes and everywhere else!
